Katie Richter is a freelance writer and perennial adventurer whose writing is as multifaceted as her life. By day, she’s a PR strategist and dialed event planner for top outdoor brands. Outside the office, she’s a creative and a performer at heart, playing trumpet and singing with a popular reggae/rocksteady band, dabbling in aerial silks, and pushing herself to chase the next big adventure and story.
Calling Asheville, NC, home for the past decade, Katie cherishes every moment in the temperate rainforests, rhododendron tunnels, ancient rivers, and quartz cliffs of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
