Bio
I am a photographer and writer based out of Michigan, affectionately referred to as America’s high five. I’m a born and raised Michigander and love telling people how Michigan is an unexpected outdoor adventure powerhouse (Have you seen our miles of freshwater beaches?! Also, the Upper Peninsula has some world-class ice climbing). I’ve been a ski instructor for 10 years and a rock climbing instructor for 7 years. I have written travel guides for national parks, gear reviews, and about the unexpected camping in Detroit. If I am not writing or taking pictures I am climbing, hiking, camping, skiing, snuggling with my daughter, or – my new favorite hobby- crocheting.
