Nick Bruckbauer began his professional career as a practicing civil engineer, but his love of the outdoors and outdoor gear eventually brought him into the gear testing and digital publishing space. 

A cross-country and track runner since his childhood, Nick ran daily from when he was 15 years old until he was 30 years old, and has picked up road cycling, hiking, climbing, camping, downhill skiing, and paddle boarding over the last decade. Now a year-round resident of Lake Tahoe, Nick lives the dream mountain life where he is active in all seasons and puts the best outdoor gear to the test almost daily.
