Riley handles digital media partnerships across AllGear Digital’s family of websites. She has been participating in a variety of outdoor sports for as long as she can remember, and writing about them on occasion for 5+ years.
Based in Bend, Oregon, any given weekend you can find Riley hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, kite surfing, paragliding, or walking her cat. Riley spent the summer of 2021 hiking the entirety of the Pacific Crest Trail, so she is no stranger to the importance of finding the right gear for adventure… or finding where the beers are poured when you make it into town.

About Riley Marshall
At age 7 1/2 Riley wrote in her school journal: “I’m 7 1/2. I have blonde hair and blue eyes. I am silly, unsafe, and I do not like to clean. I have a good personality. I like to swim, climb, and skate.” Fast-forward a few years, and this statement largely still holds true, though she has since added a few hobbies to the lineup (some of them a bit unsafe). Riley has combined her love of outdoor sports with her personality to carve out a career path that is ignited by both.
While Riley’s primary role at AllGear is on our Sales team, her broad expertise in all things outdoors gives her the ability to dabble in the occasional gear test, or writing project for GearJunkie.
Before working for AllGear, Riley spent time in the parachuting industry, working in marketing for skydiving harness equipment manufacturers. There, she was published in several skydiving magazines discussing safety in equipment, as well as factors involved in selecting and caring for your gear, so it is natural that she covers similar topics for outdoor equipment on GearJunkie.
