ARTCRANK, “The Poster Party for Bike People,” started as a one-time exhibit in Minneapolis in 2007, and has since grown into an international sensation, with shows all over the US and in Europe.
Since that first show, top artists in cities like Portland, Austin, New York and London have designed over 1,400 posters, all inspired by a love of bicycles.
The folks at ARTCRANK compiled 200 or so of the most memorable designs and managed to cram them into 60 seconds of awesome:

If you’ve never had the chance to get to an ARTCRANK show, it’s one heck of a party. In each city ARTCRANK hosts a show, 30-40 local artists hand print limited edition posters for display and sale, a beer sponsor provides refreshments (with proceeds benefitting organizations like World Bicycle Relief and Streetsblog), and a crowd of anywhere from 800 to 8,000 people shows up to celebrate the local bike and creative communities.
ARTCRANK’s throwing down in Minneapolis, their hometown and ours, on Saturday. If you’re in the area, we’ll see you there. And if you’re not, they’ve still got stops planned all over the US and UK this summer and fall.
