Kristina Wayte’s new film follows 13-year-old Julia Traum, who finds mountain biking inspiration in an animated comic.

This year, Race Face reached out to biking adventurers to tell their stories. Its Creator Series film contest features 10 different creators, all competing for funding for their dream project.

Another element is for filmmakers to show off their local mountain biking community by telling a story. Wayte’s film is one of the submissions chosen for the final 10.

Why? It hones in on the unique sights and sounds of mountain biking. Also, it features a young female shredder and an awesome animation element. The film is just under 10 minutes and is worth every second.
