Joonas Vinnari turned a passion for bikes (and beer) into a lust-worthy career as a cycling filmmaker. But he also still rips 20 years later.
Vinnari picked up his first Kona bike 20 years ago. He fell in love with the freeriding scene in his home country of Finland. He had the talent and the drive to make serious moves, but along the way found a new passion: filmmaking.
Fifteen years later, Vinnari is still making films, now as Kona’s head filmmaker, editor, and director. But even after 20 years, he still has the skills to be a pro rider. And according to Kona, he has an “unparalleled sense of humor, loves a good nekkid sauna, and can still ride like he’s 18 with nothing to lose.”
