The Warbird Has Landed: First Look at Salsa’s Gravel Machine

The Warbird bike was built to do one thing: Crush gravel. Gravel roads, that is. The bike, a $3,899 build (titanium) from Salsa, is the first one made specifically for the rising sport of gravel road racing.

We picked up the titanium iteration — the Warbird Ti — this week from Quality Bicycle Products HQ. I’m headed to southern Minnesota this weekend to put the rig to test in its natural habitat. For now, here’s a first look at what makes this bike a monster on the rocks. —Patrick Murphy
