After plenty of hype built up over the last few months, it’s finally here: the EarthCruiser Hummer EV Camper. It’s an all-electric carbon fiber pop-top truck camper on an all-electric off-road capable truck.
Oregon-based overland camper builder EarthCruiser partnered with Hummer to design the vehicle, which makes its public debut this weekend at the Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, Colo.
Dubbed the “GMC Hummer EV EarthCruiser upfit,” the vehicle combines an all-electric Hummer pickup with a full-featured EarthCruiser truck camper. That means it produces zero emissions from the tailpipe while still offering a powerful truck and a cozy camper with plenty of modern features.
“We are proud to work with GMC on the design and manufacturing of such an exceptional product. It feels right, it feels like it belongs,” EarthCruiser CEO and founder Lance Gillies said in a press release. “Using our years of overlanding expertise, we have ensured nothing is out of place, unnecessary or wasted in this vehicle.”
