Learn a Chill, Mindful Running Routine With Rio Lakeshore

Need some mindful motivation to start, continue, or embrace running? Rio Lakeshore has some to share.

Roark’s Run Amok ambassador Rio Lakeshore hasn’t missed a day of running in years. Already logging over 2,500 miles this year, he has his mind set on running over 5,000 miles in 2021.

“His rituals are key to his preparation and process of moving through the city and trails, healthily: in mind, body and soul,” wrote Roark.

He does this not because he has to, but because it’s part of his life, part of making him a better person — it’s his ritual. “I run to be mindful…I do it to be better than I was yesterday,” said Lakeshore.

In this short film, you’ll get a glimpse of Lakeshore as a runner, but also as a father, musician, and friend.
