Now in its third iteration, this proven cross-country ripper gets new bones, shocks, and geometry in a bid to improve rider control and make it even tougher to beat in off-road races.
There’s no doubt: the new KTM 350 XC-F Factory Edition is a sexy bike. The Austrian manufacturer has released a new special edition of the motorcycle that helped Kailub Russell win eight straight championships at Grand National Cross Country.
Hardware upgrades and a reworked rider triangle lead the way toward a bike that KTM wants riders to feel even more comfortable on.
So, the company built the new frame toward better longitudinal rigidity and dialed the bike’s rotating mass closer to the center of gravity. The result should be more responsive braking behavior and tighter control in the seat.
The triangle updates should also support those characteristics — KTM said the new geometry prioritizes better knee contact.

A flatter seat profile and sticky seat cover should also help riders grip the bike, KTM said. And when the going gets muddy, you can test out what KTM calls “new plastics” that “work to” slough off gunk.
Engineers also made the frame beefier with thicker frame walls, and gave it new shocks and shock mounts balanced with updated XACT forks.
And thanks to multiple hi-vis orange touches, you won’t mistake the 350 XC-F Factory Edition for flying under any other banner than KTM. A Factory orange frame, anodized triple clamps, CNC-machine orange hubs that anchor the black D.I.D Dirtstar rims, and an orange rear sprocket set it off.
