Archer Components Drop Bar Remote
Archer’s new bike tech is some of the coolest we’ve seen in a while. It claims to turn any bike into an electronic-shifting bike. Archer created a two-button remote utilizing its existing D1x chainstay-mounted shifter. The custom-designed DBR — drop-bar remote ($119) — works ergonomically within the hood and offers easy push-button shifting and on-the-fly adjustability. Even better, the DBR has on-bike charging. The Archer D1x Trail Shifter with a DBR Remote System is $399, or get the DBR remote separately for $119. Both are available on presale now.
Ball and Buck Field Pant FG
Ball and Buck recently released a women’s hunt collection and new field pant. The Field Pant FG ($218) comes in a classic canvas and an olive camo. The women’s collection includes shooting shirts designed for active days in the field. Our Hunt/Fish editor has the Annie shirt ($158) in hand, and she loves the wicking fabric and protective patching on the shoulders and elbows. Add in a mix of duck cotton and CORDURA for durability, and we’ve got some winners.

GiantMouse ACE Riv Knife
Carrying a fixed blade and small compact folder both have perks — the fixed blade serves as the go-to while the folder provides a handy backup. But the Riv purports to marry the two. The ACE Riv (from $185) has an Elmax blade steel, ball-bearing pivot, and titanium frame lock. The Riv is available in titanium, brass, or green with Micarta scales. The blades are 2.44 inches in length, ideal for EDC.
