Aimed at the enthusiast road rider, the new LOOK 765 Optimum road bike is made for long rides on any road in any conditions. This all-new version of the 765 replaces the prior models with a completely new, lighter frame and fork, fresh geometry, and updated standards.

LOOK positions its 765 Optimum as a buttery-smooth roadie. The seat stays designed with the company’s 3D Wave technology exhibit specific shaping and “integrated flex zones” to help the bike surf.
The technology uses integrated flex zones and specific shaping to reduce vibrations by up to 20% over its race bikes, LOOK said.
But that’s just the start. Clearance for 700x34mm tires and endurance geometry (higher stack, shorter reach) puts the rider in a more upright position with fewer headset spacers.
At the bottom bracket, there’s a mix of carbon and glass fibers to enhance the ride quality further, adding more damping without giving up stiffness. It also switches to the T47 bottom bracket standard.
Up front, cables run under the stem into a ported headset cap, hiding everything inside the frame and fork for a clean look.
Hidden fender mounts on the frame, fork, and dropouts let you run front and rear protection (with minimal, if any, tire size reduction necessary) without messing up the aesthetics of the bike.
Capturing the wheels now are standard thru-axles; gone are the Speed Release thru-axles. While they (and I) like those, making the switch was a matter of convenience and spare parts availability for consumers.

The LOOK Optimum 765 is available now in four complete builds (all prices MSRP):

The frameset, which weighs in around 1,400 g for the frame and fork, will be available in two colors for $2,400.
