Consumers reported second-degree burns from lights that were accidentally turned on and overheated.

Olight and the Consumer Product Safety Commission this week issued a recall of more than 200,000 M2R Pro and Warrior Mini flashlights.

According to the recall, customers should immediately stop using these flashlights, as they can inadvertently turn on while in a carrying holster or pocket. If that happens, the flashlight can overheat and pose a burn hazard.

“If you own one of these recalled flashlights, please immediately stop using it and contact Olight for store credit, a replacement flashlight, or a full refund,” Olight wrote in its recall notice. “We apologize sincerely for this situation. Thanks for all your continuous support.”

To date, Olight received 127 of the flashlights turning on and overheating, resulting in 22 reports of burn injuries. Three of those consumers reported second-degree burns.

Here are the details of which flashlights are included in this recall and steps to remedy affected products.
