GearJunkie and Twin Cities In Motion will host a unique in-the-city adventure race, the TC Urban Dash, in Minneapolis on Aug. 8th.
Now in its third year, the event pits solo racers or teams against an urban course where you decipher clues and perform tasks around Minneapolis’ North Loop neighborhood.
The Race: You have 90 minutes to complete the course. Each racer gets a manifest and cluesheet. Hidden checkpoints and challenges that balance physical activity with mental skill are a part of the fun. (See our report from the 2014 event.)
The Swag: Each participant gets a swag bag with a tech T-shirt from Saucony, a three-pack of FITSOKs, a camp chair, and more. The post-race party is at the North Loop Fest; each racer receives a ticket for a beer after completing the course.
