Weddings are beautiful, aren’t they? So much love in the air. Tears of joy, laughter, drunken dancing, everyone looking stunning, et cetera. A day to remember for all involved. Especially when that day involves a grizzly bear killing a moose a stone’s throw from the bride and groom.
It’s a heart-wrenchingly sad video, but it is Mother Nature in action. On August 18, the beautiful couple was tying the knot in front of friends and family, as beautiful couples do. They were doing so in Glacier National Park, and they hired wedding videographer Stanton Giles to capture the day. Giles, though, did not expect to capture what transpired.
A few minutes before the bride and groom said their vows on the shores of Two Medicine Lake, wedding guests noticed a baby moose with its mother on the slope across the lake. Soon, though, they noticed that the unfortunate young animal had been separated from its mother and chased down the shoreline.
