Stripes, patterned button-downs, and fun-colored pants: REI’s spring line is an eye toward an outdoor lifestyle trend — and an affordable one at that.
REI’s new in-house line of casual apparel nods toward the ’60s. With the tagline “Peace, Love & Fresh Air,” the co-op brand bets big on vintage styles.
The brand released its spring collection this week, so hop on REI’s site to browse dozens of new — and affordable — shirts, pants, and jackets.
Although some of the offerings are fairly neutral (patterned short-sleeve button-downs), the brand also offers some personality with edgier picks.
The release follows on the heels of REI’s fall lifestyle collection, dubbed Wallace Lake. Thick sweaters, bomber jackets, and crew necks dominated.
Both collections clearly illustrate the retailer’s desire to fit in among not just the technical side of the outdoor world, but the fashionable side as well.
