GOAT Modular Coolers

Just launched, GOAT Coolers is out to streamline, well, everything. The GOAT modular cooler package ($500) provides a full system, centered around a cooler hub — a 58L rotomolded, insulated cooler — for protecting and storing food and drink. And it offers additional canisters for gear. It has BPA-free cans, water-resistant containers built for tackle gear, a camp kitchen kit, and more. GOAT (Greatest of All Time) claims it’s “the base camp for your base camp.”

Spy Optics Marauder Goggles

Adorned with crisp wolf graphics, Spy’s new Marauder snow goggles ($180) aren’t for the faint of heart. The goggles are made with polyurethane in a frameless style. These goggles are built to increase peripheral vision on the slopes, add lots of venting, and incorporate Spy’s magnetic Deadbolt lens system to help you easily swap out lenses. The lenses offer 100% UV protection and have anti-scratch and anti-fog treatments.

Canfield Bikes Tilt Trail MTB

Canfield Tilt bike

Canfield Bikes’ new Tilt ($4,300 on preorder) is a 29er “trail-slayer” built around Canfield’s Balance Formula (CBF) suspension. The Tilt is meant to be a playful upgrade on Canfield’s 2015 TOIR bike. It has a 65-degree head angle, 425mm chainstays, and 138mm rear travel. The brand boasts the Tilt can efficiently climb but also “party” on the downhill.

SLOPE PRO-180X Chest Pack

SLOPE’s new pack has a low-profile design meant to be worn on the front, not the back. The SLOPE Chest Pack ($120) gives you easy access to essentials while keeping them protected and stashed comfortably on your person. Whether boarding, skiing, or snowmobiling, the Slope PRO-180X reduces bulk and is easy to wear on a chairlift. The pack comes with a collapsible water bottle, a fleece-lined insulated pocket, and weighs just 15 ounces.

Western Rise Airloft Shirt Jacket

Western Rise’s AirLoft Shirt Jacket ($198) is a stretchy, breathable layer perfect for when the weather shifts. The “shacket” (best of both worlds) has a 100% Primeflex polyester exterior with Toray 3DeFX+ hollow-core, four-way-stretch insulation. And it’s got simple but must-have features like multiple zippered pockets, adjustable cuffs, a snap closure, and a DWR treatment.

Hyperlite Mountain Gear Approach Bag

Hyperlite approach bag

Built with waterproof, durable Dyneema Composite Fabric, a hefty #10 water-resistant zipper, and an ultralight design, Hyperlite’s Approach Bag ($159) may be the best duffel yet. The brand designed the ultralight, 21.5 x 11 x 11-inch bag to be reliable and durable from the house to the car to the crag — and anywhere else you might go.

TIPEN 2.0 EDC Pen

The TIPEN 2.0 EDC Pen (now $30) is one of the smallest, lightest, and strongest pens on market. The TIPEN is made to be ultra-durable, with a Grade 5 titanium body and silicon-nitride ceramic (Si3N4) tip that doubles as a smooth writing utensil and a multifunctional tool. Cut, pierce, puncture, and write with this slim pen, just 6 cm long. The TIPEN 2.0 comes with your choice of a laser-engraved finish.

Specialized Hotwalk Carbon

Remember that cute little balance bike Specialized brought to market a few years ago? Well, now the bike brand has given it a major upgrade: with an all-carbon frame. The Hotwalk Carbon ($1,000) has a lightweight FACT 9r carbon frame, carbon fork, and carbon wheels, complete with a low-friction saddle with a carry handle for parents. Essentially, it takes Specialized’s award-winning S-Works bike design and shrinks it down into a kid-friendly balance bike package.

THYRM CellVault-18 Battery Case

This new “cell vault” battery case is a bit of an odd item, but we can still see why it could have awesome EDC applications. The THYRM CellVault-18 Battery Case ($25) holds one 18650 or two 18350 rechargeable batteries in a protective, waterproof (rated to IPX7), easily transportable case. The case hopefully makes it easier to have your flashlight, camera, or recorder batteries on hand in the field.

Boundary Supply Classic Rec Backpack

Boundary Supply CLASSIC REC DAYPACK

A brand that got its start in crowdfunding, Boundary Supply is now out with a collection of recycled packs built for urban travel. The Rennen Classic Rec Backpack ($100) is built from recycled materials and finished with technical, modular upgrades like clip-in organizer pouches and laptop sleeve attachments. Customize it with pouches and pockets depending on your needs.
