Joerg Sprave found the “missing link” to build a fully auto crossbow with rack and pinion design. The innovation comes as no surprise: His YouTube channel is a library of outlandish homemade launchers.

By attaching a battery-powered Mikita drill to a flywheel, Sprave managed to harness the tool’s rotational force to propel projectiles. That means arrows, lots of ’em.
