A recently launched lighting ‘baton’ from Olight is powerful, small, and runs up to six days without a charge.
Olight showed its tiny new lighting product at SHOT Show last week, and it is a wonder of modern technology.
The Baton series has been a staple of the brand’s lineup for three years now. The S version is the flagship of the EDC line, and the S1R is one of the best production lights in the world right now for EDC use.
However, the H1R’s small package and high power output caught our eye among Olight’s line of lighting instruments.
H1R Nova: Micro Light, Magnum Power
The new H1R Nova expands on the successful line and implements it in a super compact angle-head design. It also includes a head strap to convert the light into a headlamp.
The form factor is excellent and the charger works well. The output hits some high highs (600 lumens, 72-meter throw, 80 minutes) and low lows (at two lumens it burns for six days).
