Talk about getting an early start in an adventurous life! Joshua Karbus does more at 9 years old than many adults do in a lifetime.
Surfing at 2. Swimming with hammerhead sharks at 5. A free dive with humpback whales at 6. Karbus is an ocean explorer with incredible experiences under his belt for such a young age. He’s even “friends” with a bottlenose dolphin he met at the age of one.
Beyond that, Karbus is a little ripper! Living in the small town of Lahinch on the west coast of Ireland, he has access to consistent, albeit frigid, waves. He also looks like a heck of a skateboarder. So if you need a little inspiration, watch what this 9-year-old is up to, and then get out and get after it.
