Faction Skis’ newest full-feature film premieres worldwide next month.
Sweet. Sick. Rad. Gnarly. Whatever other lingo exists for the word “cool,” this film embodies. Faction Skis’ “The Collective” follows in the footsteps of its first film “This Is Home” but provides even more gorgeous footage than before.
Directed again by Etienne Merel, “The Collective” showcases jaw-dropping footage of skiing and shredding adventures across six countries in a variety of landscapes — backyard powder, city rails, and remote mountain ridgelines.
The film is essentially a montage of powder and big-air inspiration, with footage of athletes like Finnish Antti Ollila, who skis over 300 days a year. But it’s not just one style of freeride skiing. The movie will feature a slew of talent from Faction’s pro team, ranging from youth slopestyle competitors to daredevil big-mountain skiers.
Bottom line, this trailer — and film — was made to raise the stoke.
All next month, you’ll be able to check out the film during “The Collective” world tour. U.S. film tour locations include Salt Lake City on October 10, and Denver on October 17. For the full tour schedule, click here.
Can’t make it in person? Check out the digital premiere on Red Bull TV on November 25.
