With an exclusive design, Scott has created a ski new for this year that is said to track well in any snow condition — from corduroy to crud to deep stashes of powder.
But what makes the company’s Stunt ski model stand out is its “V-Rocker” tip and “Venturi” tail, which together are touted to “increase airflow from the tip of the ski to the tail” to allow the ski to “track with less pressure,” the company touts. By alleviating pressure from the snow, Scott says the ski tracks better in all conditions.
That’s the touted effect. Gear Junkie has yet to test this ski. But Scott says the design can improve turning ability and turning radius on any terrain.
The company’s Stunt is an all-mountain ski that’s 110 to 113 millimeters underfoot, depending on length. It comes in 176, 186, 196cm lengths. Dimensions are 141/111/127mm for the 186cm length model (similar for the other builds).
The Stunt is currently available for $800. www.scottusa.com
