A son of two ski coaches, River Radamus was born with skiing in his blood.

Growing up on skis before he could walk, it’s no surprise that American River Radamus is a three-time gold medalist of the Youth Olympic Games — the first to accomplish this remarkable feat.

“The greatest gift [my parents] have ever given me is the opportunity to ski, to explore, and to pursue my passion,” said Radamus.

Band of Heroes introduces us to Radamus’ laid-back and humble yet gifted approach to skiing, showing us his talents, his weaknesses, and his incredible strength as a ski racer with big aspirations and a big torch to carry.

“I want to perfect my craft every single day,” Radamus added, “I feel like that’s what the 5-year-old me would have wanted.”
