From deep in the British Columbia backcountry to the streets of the Midwest, World Champion snowboarder Chris Corning’s latest edit is an ode to the joy of riding.
Six-time World Champion snowboarder Chris Corning is starting this season off strong. He and his crew ride ramps, pipes, rails, walls, and even chains (and then, of course, snow) in this town-to-backcountry winter film.
“We out here, 11 miles deep. There might be some slaughtering today,” fellow pro boarder Sam Klein notes. With an intro like that, we knew this edit was going to be exciting — as in full of stoke, aerials, and painful missed landings.
The film, directed and filmed by Corning himself, highlights the joy of snowboarding in some of North America’s most unique and visual locations.
Over the course of the film, 10 other snowboarders in addition to Corning and Klein showcase their various riding styles. So whether you’re just starting out or want the 411 on how to ride street rails, this film is for you.
These riders and crew bring a stylized millennial lens to riding both the cityscape and backcountry. Beautifully shot among the majestic scenery of Wyoming, Wisconsin, Colorado, Minnesota, Utah, Oregon, and Quebec, “Teal” definitely proves the vast variety of features and terrain available to shred.
