Our “Boot Up” sweepstakes, sponsored by ECCO and Iceland Naturally, has come to a close. Out of nearly 22,000 entrants we drew one name, Zachary Wist, a 28-year-old Seattle resident and student, to win the grand prize: A Trip for 2 to Iceland!
“I am frozen right now, feeling so blessed, this is amazing,” Wist said when we informed him of the win this morning.
Wist has dreamed of going to Iceland for a long time, he added, saying that he loves “the people and the landscape and the music,” including Reykjavík-based Sigur Ros.
To add to his excitement, his wife had their first child just three days ago. “This has got to be the craziest, most wonderful week of my life,” Wist said.
