You can find Katie Eichelberger within the trees of Minnesota exploring parks via foot, bike, or snowshoe — whatever feels fitting at the time with her partner and fluffy pup, Otso. She has a lot of outdoor hobbies but running, mountain biking, camping, and yoga are at the top of the list. Previous to writing, Katie also worked as a Content Producer at GearJunkie in our Minneapolis, MN office.

A Word from Katie

My passion for writing grew out of the stories I got to tell for my college magazine. While I mostly use my writing skills in my marketing day job now, my love for the outdoors and writing collide through gear reviews. I dabble in a lot of outdoor activities, but cycling, running, camping and hiking make me feel alive. When I’m not at work or writing reviews, you can find me on some sort of trail, thrifting, or finding a cozy cabin on the North Shore of Minnesota.
