A lifelong mountain biker and career journalist, Toby Hill takes full advantage of the year-round riding in his native home of Southern California. From 2011 to 2019, he covered the international bicycle business as managing editor of the industry’s leading trade news magazine.
Over the last few years, Toby has tested and reviewed dozens of e-bikes, from value-priced commuters to high-performance gravel and mountain electrics. Out of his current stable of bikes, he reaches for his mid-travel e-MTB most often.
