Chrome Industries Folsom Pant

Built out of a high-end synthetic fabric made by Swiss materials brand Schoeller, the Folsom cycling pants have a slight stretch as well as a water- and stain-resistant outer. Matte black and fairly plain, they look like sharp, casual everyday pants or even nice office-wear.

But the pants have bike-specific touches like a stealth webbing U-lock holster on the belt area. There’s a reflective rear patch for a hit of night visibility and, for durability against bike-seat wear, a double layer of fabric in the crotch.

The Chrome pants are probably my favorite in this review — they fit right and work well for riding. Their style is subdued but not as dressy as the Makers & Riders pant (next review in this post). Further, I know they will last — I’ve ridden for years in Chrome shorts made of the same material and the same bomber construction techniques.
