Not Slowing Down: Triathlete Rach McBride on Sport, Training, and Career

This video is a quick reminder that no matter your age, experience, current career path, or anything else, you can still achieve your dreams.

“This is when people start to retire.” Rach McBride sets an interesting premise for this DiamondBack athlete edit. But it quickly changes tune.

McBride is a professional triathlete, three-time IRONMAN, Red Bull 400 winner, and more. And McBride didn’t even enter the high-performance professional race scene until their mid-30s.

McBride is also a self-proclaimed “badass,” a cellist, and the first professional triathlete out as gender nonbinary. In this short video, we see what fuels them as an athlete.

It’s a passion for the sport, an ache to be better, faster, and no matter what — keep moving forward.
