Military, medical, rescue, and everyday adventurers alike all need to protect their gear. Whether that means keeping electronics dry, making sure beer and food stays cold, housing heavy ammunition, or protecting life-saving gear, Pelican makes a case for every life situation.
In 1976, Dave and Arline Parker set to work in a Torrance, Calif., garage to make 100 percent leak-proof gear for their SCUBA adventures. More than 40 years later, Pelican employs nearly 1,300 people around the globe to make a wide array of element-proof cases.
And it’s not just divers anymore; campers, heli-rescue personnel, and the U.S. military are some of its customers.
Protecting all that you value.
It takes a lot to break a Pelican product. But for all you overachievers out there, Pelican Products stands behind every one of its products, period. If there is a problem, call its customer service department at 800-473-5422 in the U.S. In many instances, the brand will either repair or replace your broken case.
Pelican Products was founded in a garage, partly funded by a loan from the founder’s mother-in-law.
