“Unplug while hanging out in America’s first ‘hammpground,’ luxury camping in hammocks,” notes the Airbnb description of the private retreat for two. Proprietors Keith and Benka rent it at $49 a night.

Found 1.5 hours from Los Angeles, this mountain camp will whisk you away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As owner Tim touts, “Bring a bag of ice and an open mind; nature will provide the rest.” No stress at 6300′ in the clouds — welcome. Accommodates up to six at $58 a night.
