Sea to Summit makes some unique, functional products. We’ve tested many, from collapsible silicone cooking pots to one of our favorite sleeping pads. The company pushes the envelope on gear design and tends to hit the mark on functionality.

X-Set31

x set sea to summit brand profile

Compact and functional, we’ve used and love this silicone cookware. The set collapses and nests with dinnerware and other X-line cookware to slide seamlessly into your pack. No more bulky cook pots to try and fit into your pack or clip to the outside.

For those who prefer the compact design at the expense of a little more weight, the X-series (and particularly the X-Pot) is a great choice.

Thermolite Reactor ExtremeLiner

A sleeping bag liner extends the season of your sleeping bag when the mercury drops. The Thermolite Reactor Extreme Liner may increase sleeping bag temperature rating by 25F (14C), saving big bucks for those who only sleep in cold weather occasionally, or who want to stretch the range of a bag.

Aeros Pillow Premium

Lightweight, compact, and super luxurious – no excuse for ditching your pillow in the backcountry, ever.

Ultralight Hammock – Brand Spanking New

The Sea To Summit Ultralight Hammock just hit the market (we review it here). The brand calls it the “world’s lightest,” and at 4.9 ounces, it’s certainly a featherweight piece of gear. We awarded this design Best In Show at Outdoor Retailer.

Airy and almost fully see-through, the brand employs a new monofilament nylon fabric for this svelte relaxation tool. The super-breathable sling stuffs away tiny and will cost you only 4.9 ounces in a pack (without webbing/suspension). It came to market in 2017 and costs $90.
