First and foremost, REI makes this in a huge range of sizes, from Short Narrow to Long Wide, and other sizes in between. That’s on-brand for making inclusive gear.
It’s also a performance-packed sleeping bag. The 850-fill power insulation comes from water-resistant goose down (Bluesign-approved) for comfort down to 15 degrees. A recycled shell is “downproof” to keep those feathers inside, where they belong. Varied baffle spacing also helps keep the fill in place for more thermal efficiency.
The size of the bag helps define how its contours prioritize warmth, but there are also zip covers and a trapezoidal footbox to trap heat.
