Revel Rover Carbon Gravel Bike

Revel Rover carbon gravel bike on dirt road

Stop shredding and start grinding, ’cause Revel has its sights set on gravel. From the same minds that brought you the Why Cycles titanium R+ comes the carbon steed Revel Rover. Capable of clearing up to 50mm rubber on its specced 700c wheels, the Revel folks — known for carbon mountain bikes — take pride in this “000mm-travel” machine. Available as a $2,400 frameset with Revel’s custom gravel fork, the Rover also comes in three complete builds: SRAM Red AXS ($8,199), Shimano GRX ($4,600), or SRAM Rival ($3,999). PAKMULE BIKE RACK

Pack your gear. Pack your bikes. Heck, pack it all! PAKMULE stakes its claim in the hitch rack space with its BIKE RACK (yes, all caps). And while you might think hitch racks are a dime a dozen, PAKMULE carves its own niche by doubling up. The BIKE RACK can haul both bikes and gear with its tray-and-fork-mount design. Capable of holding three bikes or a bunch of gear, the rack hinges on the brand’s BIKE BITS, which hold various axle diameters and hub widths. Grab some of your favorite tie-downs, though, because you can haul up to three bikes, or just gear — so strap it in! The PAKMULE BIKE RACK (all caps) is available now, starting at $1,210.

Vasque Sunsetter

Nearly 40 years ago, Vasque introduced the Sundowner hiking boot — with full leather upper and hot red laces. Now, the Minnesota brand re-“boots” this grandaddy with modern and more sustainable tech. The Sunsetter ($150) pays homage with the same visage, only now using Nature-Tex waterproofing (made with 50% recycled materials) and a mesh collar. This sucker is selling fast, so find a fit for you now.

Smartwool x Jiberish Limited-Edition Collection

Jiberish Smartwool collaboration socks lungewear

The Smartwool x Jiberish limited holiday collection is a hearty blend of form and function. The collaboration blends the thermoregulation and anti-odor properties of wool, the collection uses plant-based dyes to create sustainable, one-of-a-kind designs. It includes a Merino 250 Plant-Based Dye Jogger and Merino 250 Colorblock Jogger ($140 each), a Merino 250 Baselayer Plant-Based Dye hoodie and a Colorblock hoodie ($140 each), a beanie ($35), and Cushioned Ski Print Over the Calf Socks ($26).

Wrangler x Roark Out of Range Collection

Lined denim jackets, twill jeans, and waxed cotton and wool flannels — the Wrangler x Roark Out of Range collection offers up all the cowboy essentials. Part fashion capsule, part workhorse country apparel line, this collab carries the “Made in USA” badge with the timeless rancher aesthetic (and the construction to back it up). This limited-edition line comprises the $475 denim Roundup Jacket (pictured), a $450 Maverick waxed cotton canvas-wool jacket, a $250 Army flannel, and more — not to mention the iconic Wrangler jeans. Check out the entire limited-edition collection here.

Turtlebox Speaker

If you’re looking to turn your campsite into a mini Burning Man, the Turtlebox Speaker ($374) is just the thing. A huge amp and driver deliver deep bass, and the 1.25-inch tweeter provides crisp highs. A five-step battery indicator shows you how much of the 20 hours of battery life you have left, plus the USB port ensures that your phone or other devices have plenty of juice. The IPX-7 waterproofing means that it’ll be safe if you get surprised by a sudden downpour or spilled beer.

Chris Burkard x Billabong A/Div Collection

Billabong has just released a collaboration with renowned outdoor photographer and cinematographer Chris Burkard that showcases his stunning photography on some great apparel. Called the Natural Camo Collection, the apparel comes in three categories: Glacier, Highland, and Iceberg. The line consists of boardshorts, fleeces, and other apparel that repurposes Burkard’s aerial photos of fjords, glaciers, and highland landscapes into camouflage-style designs. Wearing the Greenland fjord boardshorts in a fjord in Greenland is now officially on our bucket list.

CRKT CEO Compact

Looking for a portable knife with a touch of class? The CRKT CEO Compact ($115) sports a strong, lightweight carbon fiber handle that combines grippiness with a low-profile look. The CMP S35VN blade steel will hold its edge, and the 2.62-inch blade length makes it an EDC no-brainer. It’s also fast to deploy thanks to the flipper, and a liner lock means you can close it easily with one hand.

Specialized Riprock

Made for kids, the upgraded Riprock mountain bike line is lighter-weight and comes with features often seen only on adult models. Starting at just over 22 pounds, the bikes are built for tiny riders aged 4 to 12. They come in 20- and 24-inch wheel sizes and cost $650 to $1,500. Internally routed cables and a modern frame geometry keep the bikes sleek. Hydraulic disc brakes do the stopping, and wide-range cassettes give all the gears for speed and climbing ability over any kind of terrain.
