The Prizes

Swiftwick Flite XT Trail Socks (3 Pairs): $72

Made to provide additional stability and support, the Swiftwick Flite XT features AnkleLock Technology to keep your ankles in place on uneven terrain as well as GripDry Fiber to prevent foot slippage.

Swiftwick made these socks from merino wool and an olefin fiber footbed to keep moisture out. Specifically, they comprise 39% nylon, 23% merino wool, 23% olefin, 12% polyester, and 3% spandex.

Salomon X Ultra GTX Trail Shoe (Men’s or Women’s): $150

Salomon has updated the X Ultra 4 GORE-TEX to be lighter while providing the stability, grip, and waterproof protection desired out of a trail shoe, according to the brand.

The one-pull tightening lace should make for easy on and off, and there is a place to tuck it after tightening so it won’t get in your way while on the move. And the brand designed the all-terrain Contagrip outsole and the shoe’s GORE-TEX outer to keep feet dry while providing traction even when it’s wet or slippery.

Smith Shift MAG MTB Sunglasses: $259-279

For the days spent sending it, the Smith Shift MAG MTB provides eye protection wherever the trail takes you. Smith says these glasses are a medium fit with large coverage and have Megol nose pads and grips to help them stay in place.

Bonus: These glasses have interchangeable lenses to quickly switch from bright-light to low-light situations. Smith also designed these sunglasses to be smudge- and moisture-resistant.

Petzl SWIFT RL Headlamp: $125

The Petzl SWIFT RL is designed to be compact and lightweight. It weighs in at 100 g and packs the power of 900 lumens. According to Petzl, this headlamp has the ability to auto-detect the amount of light within your surroundings and adjust accordingly. It also has a rechargeable battery and five-level gauge so you can ensure you’re at full charge for your next adventure.

Hydro Flask 24oz. Lightweight Wide Mouth Trail Series Water Bottle: $45

Weighing in 25% lighter than Hydro Flask’s original 24-ounce wide-mouth bottles (according to the brand), this bottle is designed for trail adventures. It should still deliver the same hot and cold properties you can expect but in a light enough package to take on longer treks and adventures.
