In 2017, Rob Paylor’s life changed forever in an accident at the Collegiate Rugby National Championship. What he thought would be the greatest day of his life ended up as the first day of an entirely new one. “It’s like I just woke up into my worst nightmare and there was no escaping it,” Paylor said.

Since then, Paylor has become a successful inspirational speaker, parlaying his experience as a quadriplegic by embracing his new reality. With “Into The Blind,” Duck Camp producers reveal that duck hunting has been a crucial part of Paylor’s emotional and psychological rehabilitation.

“When I’m there in that blind, I don’t feel disabled anymore,” he says in this short, stirring documentary. “I don’t feel like the guy in the wheelchair. I feel like myself. All those challenges just disappear.”

With killer music and plenty of crepuscular cinematography, this one will resonate with passionate hunters and humans of all kinds.
