In his latest ‘Gymkhana’ film, Ken Block spins and slides a $12 million custom, electric, rally-inspired Audi through Las Vegas.
Moving away from his Subaru and Ford roots, Block just terrorized Vegas in his latest collaboration with Audi. Not only is there epic onscreen hooning in the fully electric monster of a car the Audi S1 Hoonitron, but there are also special appearances by many of Audi’s greatest street and race cars.
Sadly, none of these other special Audis are in motion, but they do provide some impressive eye candy.
As usual, the visuals are impressive and the driving next-level, as we’d expect with any “Gymkhana” film. Block and the Hoonigan team have brought us into the future where electricity rules motorsports and instant torque smokes all the tires all the time.
This film is no doubt just the beginning of electrified hooning/drifting. We can’t wait to see what’s next.
