A limited edition Voodoo, the 305 Ghost, aims for flexibility and style, combining Lyric Cycles’ know-how with Beckford’s flashy aesthetic.
Bikes are a mainstay in the career of Tyson Beckford, considered one of the most successful models of all time.
He rode bikes with Laurence Fishburne in the 2003 film “Biker Boyz.” He’s the proud owner of an impressive collection, including several limited-edition Ducatis. He also frequently shows up on bikes in music videos, most recently in Lizzo’s “2 Be Loved.”
So it’s no surprise that the 51-year-old face of Ralph Lauren would be excited to partner with the electric bike/motorbike brand Lyric Cycles.
The model and actor worked with Lyric to create the Voodoo 305 Ghost, an electric motorbike hybrid aimed at consumers looking for flexible inner-city transportation. Like Beckford, the bike is also easy on the eyes.
“I just wanted to make a safe, fast bike that not only looks good but works good,” Beckford said in an interview with GearJunkie. “That was the concept going into the 305 Ghost.”

Voodoo 305 Ghost Features
It’s built from a naked trellis frame with 18,000 peak watts and a top speed of 65 mph. It has a motorcycle fork, a two-passenger seat, and a full-color LCD display for tracking ride stats and charging devices.
The Ghost’s battery offers a 55- to 65-mile range, and its regenerative brakes recharge up to 10% of battery life. Those features mean that consumers can feel comfortable using the Ghost in heavy traffic or on the sidewalk, said Beckford.
