The first 1,000 qualified applicants will receive a Princeton Tec Snap light kit in honor of First Responders Day.
Heads up, first responders. Personal lighting company Princeton Tec plans to give away 1,000 free Snap headlamp kits in honor of First Responder Day (Oct. 28). And one of these sweet, modular, GearJunkie-lauded headlamps could be yours.
If you are a first responder, head on over to Princeton Tec’s Facebook or Instagram pages between now and Oct. 28 and fill out the form. The first 1,000 qualified applicants will receive one of the kits.
Late to the party? No worries. Princeton Tec is committed to honoring first responders and will award all qualified applicants beyond the first 1,000 with a $20 e-gift card to its web store.
What’s in the Kit?
The Princeton Tec Snap Kit is a lighting system built around a 300-lumen, AAA-powered headlamp that weighs 3.5 ounces. So far, so typical — but what makes the Snap Kit unique is the modular nature of the accessories. The kit comes with a two-way carabiner mount and clip, plus a handlebar attachment.
The lighting element can snap out of the headlamp bracket for use as a handheld light, or snap into the handlebar attachment for illumination on twilight rides (bikepackers, take note!).
The Snap operates with a single button and has dimming capability across three lighting modes: spot high (300 lumens), spot low (10 lumens), and spot flash beam (300 lumens). The light will run for 10 hours at its highest setting, and the beam pattern extends out to 50 feet.
The Snap Kit retails for $45.
