Want to win an RV or campervan, and piles of gear? You’re in the right place.
RV and gear rental online marketplace Outdoorsy just partnered with Backcountry.com to get more people gear and to get them outdoors.
“Together, Outdoorsy and Backcountry will provide supplies and access to shared memorable outdoor experiences at a lower cost,” Outdoorsy wrote. Especially considering that RVs, and lots of technical outdoor gear, usually come with a high price tag.
Here’s how it works: Backcountry customers will receive a discount on Outdoorsy RV rentals, and Outdoorsy owners and renters will have access to discounted Backcountry gear.
Outdoorsy customers will receive a unique code via email for discounts after a rental booking is made. (Past and current Outdoorsy renters will also be eligible for discounts.)
Another leg of the partnership is a monthly calendar of merchandise deals, curated by Backcountry, for Outdoorsy RV travelers. (Current discounts up to 30% off!)
“In Partnership with Outdoorsy, Backcountry has launched a curated shopping experience specifically for RV travelers. These ‘Road Trip Essentials’ will be updated regularly with discounts as the seasons change, or we discover new products, and new brands with unique styles built for the open road,” explained Matt Bluher, Backcountry’s Senior Manager of Brand, PR, and Partnerships.
Outdoorsy x Backcountry Giveaway
To kick off their newfound partnership, Outdoorsy and Backcountry are hosting a giveaway to give a few lucky adventurers the “best selection of gear for limitless outdoor adventure.”
The Backcountry x Outdoorsy Summer Getaway Sweepstakes will choose three total winners, with the grand-prize winner receiving $2,000 in credit at each online retailer. The second-place winner will receive $1,000 in credits at Outdoorsy and Backcountry, and the third-place winner will receive credits of $500.
But, this giveaway isn’t forever. You can enter starting today, through May 30. After that, Backcountry will announce the winners on June 1.
