Zero’s new e-adventure bike onboards its latest direct drive motor and seeks to transmit confidence on the road and off.
Zero gives the DSR/X a lot of power to get off the line and seeks to help riders feel comfortable once they get rolling. The brand’s newly configured Z-Force 75-10X motor throws down a generous 166 pound-feet of torque, making it Zero’s highest-output motor ever, the company said. Zero also built the DSR with an intentionally upright stance and high clearance to help riders control it on varied terrain.
Riders should also find it to be the opposite of noisy. The gearless direct drivetrain, Zero said, makes the bike hum along at a “whisper.”
Zero DSR/X User Comfort Features
Five standard ride modes and a hand-adjustable rear shock preload setting can help you tailor your ride depending on the circumstances. Zero said the DSR/X is the first electric bike to get Bosch Offroad Motorcycle Stability Control.
The high-tech data monitoring utility measures various dynamics during braking and accelerating. It could promote further control for the rider, especially for anyone less experienced.
