Launched this week by Bonnier Corporation, publisher of more than 100 magazines and websites, and edited by Ryan Dionne, a GearJunkie.com contributor, Skiing Business is a new online publication billed as “the premier site for covering all business aspects of the skiing industry.”
With offices in Boulder, Colo., the upstart will provide in-depth stories on the winter sports industry, including trends, new products, and industry news. Dionne says the publication fills a gap in ski industry coverage. “We continually hear from retailers and manufacturers that there isn’t enough business reporting done in the ski world,” says Dionne. “We’re going to change that.”
