Ski and ride parks, small-town resorts, snowboards — that means winter, right? Think again.

Midwestern boarder and Red Bull athlete Benny Milam makes his debut in this fun short film.

The objective: Ride a line in the summer heat. The location: Dresser, Wisconsin’s Trollhaugen Outdoor Recreation Area.

Confused? It’s a zipline and tree climbing park in the summer and a gnome-scattered enchanted forest in the winter. And at Trollhaugen, apparently, there’s a bit of magic in the air.

In this shreddy end-of-summer short, there’s lots of forest, lots of gnomes, lots of clear lines — and not a whole lot of snow.

Get ready for winter (or next summer?) with this shoulder season snowboard inspiration.
