Together, Indy Pass and Teton Gravity Research highlight the ski culture in eight unique Midwest ski destinations in this upcoming film.
We don’t often think about skiing and snowboarding in the Midwest, which is exactly why Indy Pass and Teton Gravity Research directed “Pursuit of Soul,” and now “Pursuit of Soul 2.”
“I feel it’s where the soul of skiing still lies and lives. To be honest the Midwest was never on my list of places to go skiing,” filmmaker Chris Kitchen said, “but I was super impressed with the strong ski culture in the Midwest and it blew me away.”
The film takes place at eight ski hills in the Midwest, including Buck Hill, Caberfae Peaks, Granite Peak, Little Switzerland, Lutsen Mountains, Nordic Mountain, The Rock Snowpark, and Tyrol Basin.
Indy Pass founder Doug Fish added, “When I try to recall ski films about the Midwest, sadly, not too many come to mind. Given this lack of attention by the snowsports film industry, we are thrilled that TGR is unveiling this outstanding film about the people and resorts that make Midwest so special.”
On October 25, you can watch the full version on the company’s streaming service at TGR TV.
