“To be a world-class athlete, you first need to feel human.”

Three incredible pro ski racers give us a glimpse into their world. In this short film, you’ll discover that they are more than just speed demons who fly down the concrete-like snow in alpine, slalom, giant slalom, and Super-G. They are real humans with dreams, goals, families, and yes — even struggles like the rest of us.

Meet Mikaela Shiffrin, Petra Vlhova, and Alice Robinson, who are making great gains in their professional skiing careers. And they probably need no introduction.

Shiffrin is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and four-time FIS World Cup champion. Vlhova won the first-ever gold Olympic medal in Alpine skiing for Slovakia in 2022. And finally, Robinson was the first New Zealander to become the joint world number one ranked skier in women’s giant slalom in 2020.

Although it’s easy to get wrapped up in their impressive list of accolades, this film in their words will tell us more.

“We have to manage fear, but that doesn’t mean we’re fearless,” Shiffrin said.
