Are you a grommet? Get out and ride, film it, then submit your video to the 2022 Teton Gravity Research Grom Contest. A panel of pro riders chooses two winners (18 and under) for sponsorship-flavored prizes.

Teton Gravity Research (TGR) gives two young riders or skiers the chance to star in its films with the 2022 Grom Contest. Hopefuls aged 18 and under can enter the 12th annual contest now, open to skiers and snowboarders.

To enter, shoot a TGR-esque shredding video that showcases your freeriding or freeskiing skills. If you win, you get a one-year TGR Optics ambassador contract, a prize pack, and the chance to land a spot on the brand’s film tour.

One male and one female will win, and runners-up in each category will get a TGR supply prize pack “and more.” There’s also a Super Grom category, which picks the best male and female winner under the age of 10.

One short edit is all it takes to enter. Many of the submissions stay live on TGR’s website after the comp closes. To get a feel for what it takes, check out last year’s entries.

As soon as you’ve got the perfect clip, submit it by July 1 and await judgment — and, hopefully, stardom on the snow.

Happy sending.
