The designers at iKamper take rooftop tents (RTTs) very seriously. The South Korean brand uses high-end materials and builds its products in-house, by hand at the iKamper factory in Paju. Its flagship RTT, the Skycamp 3.0, is widely considered one of the top premium RTTs available today.
On March 13, 2026, iKamper released the latest version — the Skycamp 4.0. The new RTT builds on the previous design, making the four-season RTT even bigger and easier to access, and adding better ventilation and a more spacious sleeping footprint. It’s also now available in a two– to three-person size, the Trio, alongside the existing one- to two-person Duo and three- to four-person Quad sizes.
“Skycamp 4.0 is our most refined and innovative version yet,” Soon Park, Founder and CEO at iKamper, said in a statement. “The Skycamp 4.0 was designed to enable campers and overlanders to travel farther, stay out longer, and sleep better.”
Skycamp 4.0: New Configuration

According to Park, the team at iKamper redesigned the Skycamp’s geometry to reduce the tent’s exterior bulk while increasing interior space. The floor panel is now larger in the 4.0. It offers a larger sleeping area, and customers can choose between a foam mattress and a 3-inch self-inflating mattress.
As in previous versions, the cork-lined ThermaSeal Floor System insulates against the cold and helps damp noise for a quieter sleeping experience, iKamper claims.

The Skycamp 4.0 also has a larger skylight, door, and windows to make access easier and improve ventilation. iKamper’s proprietary BreathWeave Fabric is a high-density polycotton canvas that’s waterproof and breathable, keeping the tent dry and preventing condensation.
Inside the new 4.0 version, iKamper said there is more headspace than in previous versions.

The luxury RTT is protected by a low-profile Duracore FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) Shell. This durable material is impact-resistant and holds up well against the elements. All sizes of the Skycamp 4.0 tent fit on mid-size SUVs, wagons, crossover vehicles, and mid-sized truck beds. It mounts on the standard iKamper 3.0 Mounting Brackets.
Prices for the Skycamp 4.0 vary by size and mattress option. If you choose the standard foam mattress option, the prices are $4,415 (Duo), $4,695 (Trio), and $4,965 (Quad). If you choose the self-inflating mattress, they go up to $4,495 (Duo), $4,795 (Trio), and $5,095 (Quad).
