Every time you ride a bike in the city at night you roll the dice. One way to stack the odds in your favor is by adding lots of lights.

Head and tail lights only illuminate from the front and rear, leaving you in the dark from the side. The designers of HueRay Grips aim to solve that problem with lighted bike grips.

The grips look similar to stock grips except for illuminated tips. A small LED light tucked into the end can be flipped on when the sun goes down.

The end of the grip lights up, making it easier for cars to see you from the side.

The grips fit on a variety of bar types and are durable, waterproof, and come in myriad colors.

If you’re concerned that head and tail lights just aren’t enough, you can add a set of HueRay grips to your arsenal. They are available for an early bird price of $50 on Kickstarter.
