Watch as a great white accidentally breaks through a diver’s safety cage while feeding and leaps out through the access hatch on top!
The close encounter happened while the diver was photographing the apex predators near Gaudalupe Island off the west coast of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.
The shark apparently ran into the cage as it went for a large piece of bait. Unable to swim backward, the shark surged forward, broke through the cage, and leaped out.
The diver inside escaped through the bottom and survived with no injuries. Incredible! The shark appeared injured by the ordeal.
